Georgia Grown Trail 27 is North Georgia’s first branded Georgia Grown Trail highway, adding to the spectrum of such trails in the state. It’s also a great north-south alternative to I-75. From Rossville at the GA/TN line to Roopville just below I-20 west of Atlanta, you’ll find seasonal u-pick farms, wineries, breweries, meaderies and distilleries, farm and farmers markets, alpacas, Christmas Tree farms, restaurants serving up local and regional foods, and events featuring Georgia Grown products and activities. Take advantage of historic sites and outdoor recreation opportunities when you visit. From national and state parks, and museums to downtown shopping and dining, there is so much to explore along Georgia Grown Trail 27!
DOES MY BUSINESS OR FARM HAVE TO BE LOCATED DIRECTLY ON US HWY 27 TO BE A PART OF THE TRAIL? No. As long as it’s in one of the counties traversed by the designated route, your business, farm, event can be considered as “on Trail 27.” Must be in Walker, Catoosa, Chattooga, Floyd, Polk, Haralson, and Carroll Counties.
